- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Statistics with at least 55% marks,
OR - Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics

OR - Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, with minimum 50% marks
